Ultimate GNO: Posh Party Trend Show
Bellevue Fashion Week is always a time to look forward to. Fall trends, the fashion community and creative ideas that make their way home to your closet: this is what the Bellevue Collection inspires.
Of all the events, the Posh Party Trend Show is personally one of my favorites. It’s the ultimate ‘Girls Night Out’!
You check in, make your way through the gorgeously lit lobby of white leather sofas and purple tufted velvet ottomans to grab a glass of wine.
From there, just grab your girlfriends and saunter over to the beauty booths are placed throughout the venue.
Get your hair primped by Drybar or Obadiah Salon, your makeup touched up by Sephora’s experts or nails painted by inSpa… or just splurge on all of the above!
Then comes the Trend Show. The trends were separated in to an array of runway looks that truly stimulate your creative thoughts on what you may assemble from your own closet.
Disco Ball trends were full of sequins, metallics, geometric dresses, and fluffy fur.
Check Mate was, of course, filled with plaid everything from shirts and skirts, sweaters and blazers.
Garden Variety had one guest comment to me, “We are going into Fall… how can floral be trending?!” But as we know, fashion is a statement and statements are not meant to be dull. One look that stood out was GUESS’ black sheer floral wrap dress paired with black leather leggings and another was Banana Republic’s white t-shirt, red suede motorcycle jacket and navy floral pants.
Suit Yourself’s trends had already made their way to the guests seated off the runway; many women had worn oversized blazers with a belt and heels, which was one of the trending looks on the catwalk. Zara’s looks were impressive with their army green sateen suit, white tuxedo jack and black tuxedo pants.
TCM Models all rocked the runway with hair by Obadiah Salon– and for a good cause: 100% of the ticket proceeds for the Posh Party were given to Bellevue LifeSpring, a charity that is actively supporting the nearly 4,000 children in Bellevue living in poverty.
Bellevue Collection definitely upped the game for ‘Girls Night Out’ with this Posh Party.
